Siri Beant Singh (Bob Bauer)

Siri Beant attended his first yoga class in early 2000 as a way to offset physical stressors of a daily long distance running routine.  In 2003 he attended his first Kundalini class with Sierra Hollister.  Through her guidance and inspiration, he learned of the teachings of Yogi Bhajan.  As his desire to learn continued to grow, in August 2008, he completed a 27 day Kundalini Yoga immersion course in New Mexico.  Just as the Golden Chain was passed along to him, his days and nights under the blanket of leadership and group consciousness gave the breath of life into the feeling that he, too, could expand the offering of the Chain.  Bob reflects upon returning to the land of his personal daily obligations. “The gift of sharing the ancient teachings of Kundalini Yoga has allowed me to receive the opportunity to do the same”.  To continue the process, so he will be able to share with other students of Kundalini Yoga.  Over the course of the next three years, Bob will be working towards the completion of Level II Teacher Training.  The journey continues.

Hari Arti Kaur (Diana McCall)

I want to share the technology of Kundalini Yoga, because I see it's power and grace in my life everyday. I took my first Kundalini Yoga class in November 1999, the week before I gave birth to our first child. I returned to class when she was 2 months old and have continued to practice (through two more pregnancies and births) for the last 11 years.  I completed my Kundalini Yoga teacher training in 2009 in Espanola, New Mexico and have been teaching for two years. I want to share the technology of Kundalini Yoga for many reasons: through my practice I have healed my body from lower back surgery; despite my overall fitness and health, I suffered daily from debilitating pain. Kundalini Yoga has taught me that anything which has been done, can be undone--no matter from where a person is starting. I have also used my practice to set and accomplish major life goals. Kundalini Yoga is for students of all abilities: you are not here to prove what you can do, but to improve what you can not.

Hari Arti teaches home classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Class size is limited. Folks can call 337.8932 to reserve their place.

Narayan Singh

Sat Nam
My introduction to the effective, uplifting practice of Kundalini Yoga, dubbed the "Yoga of awareness," as taught by the master of Kundalini Yoga, Yogi Bhajan, came in 1995.  In 1996 I moved to Los Angeles, CA where I practiced with teachers who studied directly with Yogi Bhajan and was fortunate to attend a number of classes and lectures, with the master myself.
In 2000 I attended my first White Tantric Yoga event in Los Angeles and subsequently traveled to New Mexico and then Florida for the Summer and Winter Solstice Sadhana workshops which I have been attending regularly since.  2002 marked my move to Espanola, NM where I completed the Master's Touch Kundalini Yoga teacher training overseen by Yogi Bhajan.  I was also graced with the opportunity to serve by the master's feet, at his home in Espanola, the last few years of his life.

It is an honor and privilege to carry on the legacy of my teacher, sharing the gift of this Yoga of awareness. I find no greater joy than to witness any living being accessing the boundless capacity within us all to uplift themselves and others.

Sat Shabad Kaur

I started on the path of meditation and yoga in 2000. In 2004 I started practicing kundalini yoga, since then have tried to immerse myself in the teachings of Yogi Bhajan as much as I possibly can. From 2005 until now I have attended every Summer and Winter Solstice Sadhana. These week long gatherings of the world wide kundalini yoga community, in which we come together to practice white tantric yoga, kundalini yoga, and meditation;  instilled in me a lifestyle of yoga and awareness. I love kundalini yoga and the efficiency with which it works to remove blocks so one can deeply experience meditation and a sense of oneness. Sharing the practice of kundalini yoga with others is a passion and joy for me.
I am currently a student at UNCA finishing up my Bachelors degree in environmental ecology and biology. Once through with school I plan on working in a career focused around my degree and organic farming. I am a certified Reiki II practitioner, and live in beautiful Madison County, with my partner Narayan Singh, two dogs, two cats, and honey bees.

"Make yourself so happy, that by looking at you, other people become happy." Yogi Bhajan

I am so amazed and appreciative of all the benefits kundalini yoga brings, and I am humbled and excited to share these teachings with you.
Over the last ten years, I have transformed my life through faith, through new moon wishes, and through a daily yoga practice. I feel so grateful every morning when I wake up in my yurt, for all that has manifested in my life!  I try start each day with sadhana, my personal daily yoga practice, to prepare my mind, my intuition, and my strength to be aligned for absolute personal prosperity.   Then I spend many of my days sewing yurt canvases and managing the sewing studio at Laurel Nest Yurts, our company.   I hope that my life and my yoga classes will inspire you to "travel light, live light, spread the light, be the light."
