Sierra Hollister--Ong Kar Kaur
Sierra is a mother, a runner, a green yogini and an avowed tree hugger. Beginning her Kundalini journey at Ahimsa Ashram, Sierra was able to study directly with Yogi Bhajan. Her yoga journey since 1990 has been charmed and she feels deep, profound gratitude to all of her teachers. In addition to Yogi Bhajan, Sierra has been inspired and shaped by the teachings of Patabhi Jois, David Swenson, Sarah Powers, Seane Corn, Gurmukh Kaur, Gurushabd Singh and many more. Like Yogi Bhajan, Sierra hopes to awaken others to their own excellence.
On the teaching staff at Warren Wilson College, Asheville Yoga Center and West Asheville Yoga Center and author of “Foundations of Yoga: The Eight-limbed Path”, Sierra also enjoys traveling to share the teachings of Kundalini Yoga and is available for workshops, teacher trainings, private sessions and more.
