Daya Narayan began practicing yoga in the early 1990’s when the aches and pains from running had caught up with her. As she approached her mid-sixties, she never dreamed of becoming a certified yoga teacher until she experienced the power of Kundalini yoga as a physical and spiritual practice. At the age of 70 in 2016, she became a certified Level I Kundalini Yoga Teacher. As a retired nurse and an “everyday” spiritual seeker, Daya Narayan understands the importance of finding a practice that brings balance, joy, and connection with one’s true self in order to be healthy physically and spiritually no matter what age one may be. She lives in Hendersonville with her husband and two dogs and blissfully enjoys being a grandmother.
